Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

As a CACI-WGI (The Wexford Group International) Emerging Threat Training Readiness Integration Center (ET2RC) Senior Training Expert, you will serve with and mentor our experienced Training Practitioners providing emergent threat training to all Army units, including Combat Arms, Combat Support, and Combat Service Support. You will provide direct customer feedback to the Training Development and Delivery (TDD) Functional Lead and CACI Program Manager. You will support and coordinate with TDD training development specialists to enhance their understanding of unique mission requirements to ensure new training curriculum is realistic and relevant to all Soldiers. You will interact with fellow Home Station Training (HST), Mobile Training Team (MTT), and Combat Training Center (CTC) senior trainers to build proficiency in Army units.

More About the Role:

You will have direct access to the ETTRIC (Emerging Threat Training Readiness Integration Center) for a complete understanding of emerging threats, the Army’s Readiness goals, and related logistical requirements to enhance the Army’s effectiveness against adversaries and the networks that employ them. Through our TDD Lead, you will coordinate and provide the most relevant feedback and training profiles to FORSCOM Soldiers and ensure Army Units are trained to counter threats posed by IEDs, UAS, and other emerging threats. You will confirm that training is continually adapted based on the evolving threat environment. Ensure delivered training is responsive to the unique threats posed by 2+3 near-peer competitors and replicates global, regional, and country threats, confirming forces are ready to conduct worldwide operations in support of the National Defense Strategy. You will monitor and analyze strategic and operational information to advise the client, from the Company to Brigade level, on new and emerging threats and provide recommendations for threat mitigation, readiness, and modernization initiatives.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
  • More than three years of deployed operational experience within the various Geographic Combatant Commands.
  • More than 10 years of military experience, including recent combat deployments, and be well-versed in all areas of emerging enemy tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Willing to conduct routine travel within CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • More than five years of leadership experience managing a dispersed team of professionals – to include deployment scheduling, pre-deployment training, equipment modernization and requirements, and training/mentoring of subordinates.
  • Willing to work rotating shifts as needed - that may include nights and weekends.
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of experience, or Associate degree and seven years of experience, or 10 years of relevant work experience.
  • These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Completion of Advanced Professional Military Education (PME) focused on emerging threats and/or National Defense Strategy (NDS) 2+3 near-peer threats and operating environment.
  • More than two years of experience conducting and evaluating training at CTCs.
  • Previous SOF experience with duty at a Theater Special Operations Command or JSOC.
  • More than 20 years of military experience, and/or a combination of military and Inter-Agency experience and be well-versed in all areas of military campaigns operating in the “Grey Zone” or below the level of armed conflict.
  • Experience providing operational briefings at the GO-FO level.
